Habits That Drive The Meyers Success

Our Meyers Partners turn our strategy into action: Here is the main key to unlocking personal and business success for them and our property clients.

FOCUS is all that matters

Every successful business leader knows strategy is only as powerful as its execution. The challenge isn’t just in creating the right plan—it’s in making sure that your plan becomes reality. Partners that are looking to bridge the gap between the required strategy and the necessary action, need to identify blind spots, and work out how to accelerate their growth, If you are running a business or you are a self employed agent – then this post is for you.

At Meyers, we work with our partners with a focus to change their lives while they focus on changing their clients lives. I’ve noticed a defining characteristic among the most successful and profitable partners: the ability to cultivate and maintain powerful habits. One habit, in particular, stands above the rest as a game-changer for results performance: FOCUS.

Correct focus is the foundation of every successful business and business person. It keeps you accountable, ensures consistency, and ultimately fuels progress. Without it, even the most promised goals falter. Consider these common business challenges:

  • Sales underperformance – Often, the cause isn’t a flawed strategy but rather a lack of correct focused execution. When key activities aren’t prioritised, sales and results always suffer.
  • Stagnant growth – If you’ve hit a plateau, it may not be due to a lack of ambition, but rather the absence of disciplined focused action to push past the barriers. This might mean focusing on something new you have not tried before.
  • Inefficiency in teams – Without correct focus – the structure and processes throughout teams struggle to stay aligned, and productivity declines and culture deteriorates.

Focus isn’t just about working harder—it’s about working smarter. By instilling correct focus within yourself and your teams, you can create an environment of accountability, high performance, and sustainable growth.

What do I need to do?

1. Start Small and Build Trust with Yourself

Focus doesn’t require drastic changes overnight. Instead, focus starts with blocked time on consistent improvements. For example:

  • Start each day by writing down ONE measurable goals to focus on TODAY.
  • Make sure you have the time to concentrate on this and let people know you cant be interrupted.
  • Set strict time limits for meetings and stick to them.

These commitments to One Thing a day build momentum and train your mind to follow through on bigger tasks and more POWERFUL goals and results. Over time, you’ll establish a reputation (with yourself and others) as someone who executes on their commitments and doesn’t keep saying whatever comes to mind but you don’t really mean.

2. Align Your Habits with Your Business Goals

One of the simplest ways to reinforce focus is by linking good personal habits to specific personal goals and outcomes. When you clearly define your own vision for yourself and another for your business, objectives, and goals, execution becomes a natural next step.

Our partners want to scale up without sacrificing their personal time, then focusing on effective organisation is crucial. Our best performing partners focus on quality and productivity and create simple procedures and the space for growth and personal well-being.

At Meyers, our structured focus frameworks help our partners to stay focused and aligned with strategic goals.

3. Develop a Performance-Driven Mindset

Once you start seeing results from focused habits, you’ll be more motivated to stay consistent and push further. Successful partners continuously refine habits, adding new layers of focus every few months to sustain long-term growth and manage change.

Just like strengthening a muscle, being able to focus improves with practice. The more you exercise it, the easier it becomes to maintain high performance without slipping into unproductive patterns.

  • Create The Environment for Success
  • Be Prepared for Chaos to build up
  • Have great personal habits like diet and exercise
  • Create and align to a powerful single vision for work and another for you

4. Then you must

  1. Develop structured habits – Implement simple, repeatable processes to enhance productivity.
  2. Hold yourself accountable – Use measurable goals to track progress and stay on course.

At Meyers, we specialise in helping businesses implement high-performance habits that lead to measurable results.
